Mariner Kemper
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, UMB Financial Corporation
Mariner has been with the company for nearly 30 years and has served many roles including president of UMB Bank Colorado, n.a. and executive vice president of UMB Financial Corporation.
Since taking the helm in 2004, Mariner has kept a tight rein on risk and built a large asset management and fee-based services business, and has positioned UMB as a top-performing regional bank.

James Rine (Jim) is president of UMB Financial Corporation and president and CEO of UMB Bank, n.a. As UMB Bank CEO, Jim is responsible for the bank’s revenue generation and operations, including commercial and personal banking, institutional services, wealth management, information and technology, and credit administration.
